Spirit XXL. This high-end cable has been one of our most successful products over the past few years and enjoys absolute cult status among customers. Owing to its excellent price/performance ratio, it turned out as a multiple test winner in the German and international specialized press. The cable is robust and yet flexible, and its smoke-colored jacket gives it a high recognition value. The shielding is exemplary: its braid with 95 % coverage and the thick carbon screen (100 %) protect it from interferences. A special lacquer gives the lavishly foamed PE insulation an extreme durability and guarantees excellent transmission properties for many years to come. The wire cross-section of 0,75 mm² ensures a high signal level even over long distances. CORONA: “Fast, clean and clear“. This is ensured by the coax construction with a large wire cross-section and the phenomenal combined shielding of a tight Cu braid plus the carbon semiconductor. For highest demands and listening enjoyment we have designed the ALBEDO MKII reference cable. The SC-ALBEDO MKII excels in particular by a newly developed conductor smoothing of the copper surface, a 100 % tight multiple shielding and a vivid, detailed reproduction. Its insulation consists of a polypropylene compound. The tightly stranded, tin-plated outer spiral screen and the coated aluminum foil ensure a very good shielding against HF and AF interfering signals. Due to its tight stranding and the use of ultra fine single wires (0.05 mm / 0.002 in.), the SC-ALBEDO MKII has very good capacitive and low conductor resistance values – just as we ourselves expect it from a reference cable.

With the SPIRIT LLX “LOW LOSS” we have fallen back on the same insulation design as it is used in professional HD-SD video cables. For extra stability of the inner construction we use an optimised concentrical litz stranding and a special insulation curing on the surface. For the outer jacket we have applied a rubberlike soft PVC jacket, which is highly flexible, extremely compact, stretches hardly and protects the whole inner structure from exterior influences.
For the 2 x 0,34 mm² wire cross-sections are impressive and the electrical specifications speak for themselves. Due to the excellent price/performance ratio this is one of the top-selling cables in the stage and studio sector. Its large cross-section and low capacitance ensure an outstanding transmission quality even over long distances. The shielding by a bare Cu braid has an optical coverage of 95 %.
